Oracle:
Wanting some help with the above guys.

I'm concerned about copyright as my site is linked to a number of organisations where I use excerpts of original material link back to respective sites.

My site functions as a directory and uses breaking news form parent sites as topics for discussion within my forum.

Just wanting to know If I'm contravening any laws in doing this and what can be done to satisfy the new arrangements? -

Presumably this would affect most of you. Interested to see what steps you guys have taken, if any?

It was defeated but it is still best to check with the sites in question if it is OK to do that. Most will not mind unless they have a really strict policy about it and/or you are trying to make money for it.

Thanks guys will look into it some more.

 I think the answer really would be to contact the sites in question, make up some sort of proforma email to all links, asking the question if ok or not.
