Fishing pointers
« on: May 14, 2012, 03:00:48 PM »
Seeing as we have some fishermen on the site, was looking for some info and possible tips/tricks.

A bunch of us are heading to Lake Simcoe in Ontario Canada, we head up on May,31.

1) What is in season
2) Best lures/bait to use

LOL

Can't help you with that area but if you are ever in the New Orleans area, look me up. We have a killer time here in the swamps. Oh yea, and for the gator thing, it's not as seen on TV. They are actually more scared of you than the other way around.
If they're big enough to hook, they're big enough to cook!!!!

Deezel, I use to fish Lake Simcoe all the time, you'll love it.

Check this site out: http://www.lakesimcoemessageboard.com/

I use to stay at a friends house in Meadowside, then go to Sturgeon Falls and go to one of the lodges get a boat and fish the lake.  But there are plenty of other lake accesses also.. I think you can access the lake from on of the Indian Reserves too.

But you'll have a great time anyway you do it..
