PM Front page blocks?

Just out of curiosity.  :kap:  The front page has a center block containing "Active Topics" and "Latest Posts"  In the right hand blocks you have a "Recent Posts" block.

Aren't the "Latest Posts" and the "Recent Posts"  doing the same job?  If so, do you need both, and wouldn't it be an idea to turn the right hand block off?

I prefer the right block for recent posts, the middle block could go away imo....

Same here TBH. ;)  Also crank it up to 8-10 posts instead of the five it shows now.

Removing that block would bring the gallery up in to view too. ;)

Now then.  Just one more tweak required.   :banhim:   Would now be better to have that block moved up, so the useful / important stuff is at the top.

Taking it another step would also involve swapping positions of the two left blocks, "User info" and the shoutbox (General chat) blocks.  There's not anything useful in the user info block that's not already at the top of the page.  You guys do use the shoutbox quite a bit though.  If you see what I mean. ;)
