Bingo. I hate upgrading though. All of my theme customizations and menu customizations are gone. It was hard work considering I'm very new to SMF and forum stuff.

By the way Deezel, we are now testing the a version of SMF arcade 2.5 to run on RC5.  I have it installed on one of my testsites now, including the skin.  Hopefully released next week (if no problems found) ;)  The SMF Arcade site has been upgraded to RC5 tonight as well.

So, Modification wise, is it better for me to upgrade to RC4 with the patch or straight to RC5. What will work better compatibility wise.

They made a patch for RC4 but still recommend everyone upgrades to RC5

A lot of mods still work with RC5, Some you might need to emulate RC4 when installing.  but to be sure and if you have the spare room, you could install a test site on your server (only takes a few minutes) and test them out there first.

Or install a RC5 test site on your PC using Xampp, and test them there.  ;)

Where can I get my hands on it?

You have to be a beta tester.

If using RC3, you should upgrade to RC4 before using the RC4 patch. The patch is only for security issues for RC4 only and is not a full RC4 upgrade.

I have a RC5 test site and a lot of my mods will install without emulation. I have a few that do need it but they are working fine after emulation. :)
